record of ability, indication of leadership and professional

membership in the American Institute of Chemists and $200. |

| What makes a TA outstanding? The
outstanding TA cheerfully plans ahead, understands and is able
to explain the experiment, knows how to prep (and check!) a
lab to make sure all chemicals and equipment are available.
An outstanding TA is reliable and responsible, someone instructors
and students can count on. The outstanding TA circulates among
the students during lab, answering questions or, better yet,
helping students find their own answers. |
