talked about atypical careers for which a chemistry degree
would be an asset, including a discussion of books and
other information (e.g., the departmental
web site) students can use to explore these options.

Resources: Ed Childs
highlighted the ways that the Career Center can assist
students in gaining employment experience in chemistry-related
fields. The Career Center can also help students prepare
resumes, cover letters, and personal statements.
