The degree of Master of Science in Chemistry is designed to prepare students for advanced work in the profession of Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Coatings Technology and for further graduate study. To allow students who work full time to pursue a M.S. at DePaul, all classes are offered at night or on weekends.

Students planning to integrate a B.S. and M.S. degree program at DePaul should inquire of the chair of the department of chemistry as undergraduate juniors whether they can begin studies in the graduate school that are applicable toward a master of science.
